Sharron Murgatroyd was a top lady jockey until a terrible fall left her confined to a wheelchair. Since then she has rebuilt her life and is now a successful author. In her poetry Sharron captures the true spirit of the bond between people and horses: that special something which is difficult to explain but is immediately obvious to anyone with the eyes to see it. 

The book is in full colour throughout and is beautifully illustrated by Jacqui Jones, the well-known equestrian artist. 

…I do not agree with the foreword by the Pony Club in which it says that perhaps mums and dads will wish to sneak a read. It is the parents who will have brought the book and it is the children who will have to wrest it away from them.
